Google Analytics gives you useful data for your business so you can make informed decisions. You can connect your TourDesk Sales Portal to Google Analytics to get more insights on your guests.

Log into your Google Analytics account. If you don’t have one, you can create one

Click Admin in the bottom left corner. Then, click Data Streams > Add Stream > Choose Web. Enter your portal URL, e.g. yourhotel.tourdesk.is.

You can find your portal URL in your TourDesk account under Portal > Portal name > Basic Settings.

Then add the Stream name, e.g. Sales PortalClick Create and Continue. You can now see your measurement ID, this is the number you need to add to your TourDesk account.

Log into your TourDesk account. Click Portal in the left-hand side menu, click the name of your portal and click Analytics Tracking. Under Google Analytics, enter your Measurement ID you got from your Google Analytics account. Click Save Tracking.

You should see data coming from your TourDesk Sales Portal in Google Analytics within the next 48 hours. Note that if there is no traffic to your Sales Portal, there is no data available.
