When you are assisting guests with booking tours and activities you have options when it comes to accepting payments. All payments go through TourDesk so we will handle all payment related matters.

Online credit-card payment: If you book directly through your TourDesk account, you can accept a credit-card payment from the guest by entering his credit card information in the payment step. If the guest books directly through your Sales Portal, they also pay with a credit-card. Learn more about how to book.

Link to checkout is a good option for when the guest wants to make an online payment themselves later on, e.g. if the guest is talking to your reception about booking a tour but they forgot their wallet or they want to think about their tour options, you can send them a link to checkout in an email that they can then use to make a payment later on. In the booking process, a link will appear that you can send to your guest via email to complete the payment. You can also offer the guest to scan the QR code that appears to complete the payment.

Cash payment: You can accept a payment in cash from your guests. First, you need to add your business’s credit-card to your TourDesk account. That card will be charged for the booking and you can accept a cash payment from your guests in return. If you prefer you can also charge the booking to the guest’s room. Learn how to add a credit-card to your account.
