FreeSale - How to use TourDesk without a supplier system

You can set up your TourDesk account in a few easy steps. Your account is where you can manage your tours, bookings, refunds, etc.


If you haven't signed up for TourDesk, you can do that here.


When you first sign in to your account you can see the list of supplier systems TourDesk is connected to. If you don’t currently use any of these systems, no worries. You can use TourDesk without a supplier system by using our FreeSale option.


If you're not using a supplier system, you can contact our Supplier Team at supply@tourdesk.io and they will assist you with setting up your products. You can find further information on FreeSale at the bottom of this article.


When the supply team has added your products to the system, you can follow our checklist for setup:

  • Add your contact information
    Click Vendor info in the left-hand side menu and add your email address and your phone number. Note that this information appears on the voucher the guest receives. 

  • Add your accounting information
    Click Vendor info in the left-hand side menu and add your accounting email address and your bank account. Adding this makes for a straightforward payout.

  • Upload your logo
    Click Vendor info in the left-hand side menu and upload your logo. The logo will appear on your vouchers, making it easier for guests to recognize your brand.

  • Review your activities
    Click Activities in the left-hand side menu. There you’ll see a list of your recently imported activities. Review the content, photos, etc., and make sure it’s all up to date. Learn more about reviewing your products

Now you’ve set up your TourDesk account and are ready to start receiving bookings.


FreeSale FAQ


  1. How do I receive bookings?

Our supply team will email you your bookings when they come in through the system. The supply team will in real-time send a confirmation email to you, the supplier, and a voucher confirmation to the guest/traveler.

  1. How do the guests pay for the tours?

TourDesk handles all payments for tours.

  1. How do I update my existing tours?

Reach out to our supply team at supply@tourdesk.io with all the information you want to update and they will assist you.

  1. How do I add a new tour?
    Reach out to our supply team at 
    supply@tourdesk.io with all the information on the new tour and they will assist you.

  2. How do I get paid?

When you’re using FreeSale, you use the same method of payment as other suppliers. Learn more about how you get paid here
