You can share your Sales Portal on your website, with your guests and partners to give them the opportunity to reserve a table by themselves. You can also reserve a table for them directly through your TourDesk account.

Click Book > Restaurants in the left-hand side menu. You can use the filters to narrow down the restaurant options. You can filter by name, region, and date. Click Search on the right-hand side to view the options.

Some restaurants have a yellow star next to their name. These restaurants are part of the Icelandic Restaurant Affiliate Program and you can earn a commission for every reservation you make at these restaurants. Learn more about the program.

Click on the time you’d like to reserve. Add the guest’s name, email, phone number and if you’d like, an agent reference.

An agent reference could be e.g. your name. The Agent Reference is frequently used by receptionists/concierges to track the bookings they make. You can include more than one name, depending on how many assisted with the booking. The booking will then be added to each agents report. In the Settlement Report you get sent from TourDesk every month, you can view the sales and commissions of each agent, sorted by the Agent Reference. Most hotels reward their staff with a portion of their earned commission.

Click Reserve Table and the guest will receive a confirmation text message (sms). You’re all set!
